Fair Play & Ranking Policy

RP is deliberately boring: it comes straight from exam marking, so practising the way you would sit the paper is also the way to rank.

• +4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong one.
• Skips do not count, in either direction.
• Your RP never goes below zero.
• RP is tracked per category — past papers, adaptive practice, Grandmaster and mocks — plus a combined total, and each total maps to a tier band.

Volume alone does not raise your rank. Each question contributes once, at its best attempt, and each mock test contributes its best score once. Redoing a question you have already answered, or retaking a test you have already scored, cannot multiply your RP. This is a property of how RP is computed, not a rule we police after the fact.

One person, one account, answering questions themselves. That is the whole expectation. Specifically, it is entirely fine to:

• practise as much as you like, at any hour;
• redo questions you got wrong — it is the point of the product;
• discuss a question in a Circle or the Doubt Hub after you have attempted it;
• use the AI doubt solver to understand a solution.

These will cost you rank:

• Multiple accounts. One account per person. Running several to farm RP, occupy leaderboard places, or evade a suspension is the most serious item on this list — see Terms of Use § Your account.
• Automation. Scripts, bots, macros, emulator farms or any tool that answers questions or drives practice for you.
• Exploiting a bug. Using a scoring, timing or submission defect to gain RP instead of reporting it. Reporting one is welcome and costs you nothing.
• Answer sharing during a live mock. Passing or requesting answers while a scored test is running, on or off the platform.
• Account sharing, buying, selling or transferring — including paying someone to practise on your account.
• Falsifying your ladder. Faking a city or state to enter a smaller regional board, or misrepresenting who you are.
• Interfering with rate limits or access controls to submit at a rate a person could not.

We review answering patterns, submission timing, device and session signals, and leaderboard anomalies. Where an account is flagged, a person reviews it before any sanction — nothing on this page is applied automatically.

Being fast is not cheating. Strong students answer quickly, and a good run is not evidence of anything on its own. We look for patterns that a person could not produce, not for people doing well.

Proportionate to what happened, in roughly this order:

• Correction — RP gained from the affected attempts is reversed.
• Leaderboard removal — the account keeps practising but stops appearing on public boards.
• RP reset — the ladder position is set back to zero.
• Feature limit or suspension — for repeated or deliberate manipulation.
• Termination — for multi-accounting at scale, automation, or selling accounts.

Cheating in a real examination, or trading leaked papers, is a separate and more serious matter handled under Community Guidelines § Exam integrity.

Leaderboards show your username, tier and RP — and, on a regional board, the city or state you selected. That is all.

Your real name, email, phone number, school and date of birth are never shown on a leaderboard. Handles are generated as ordinary words rather than from your name, precisely so that appearing on a public board does not identify a child offline. We may adjust how RP is calculated, rebalance tier bands, or reset boards for a new season. Where a change materially affects existing standings we will say so in the app beforehand. RP has no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and is not refundable in any form.

If you believe a sanction was wrong, reply to the notice you received or email hr@aashita.ai with “Ranking appeal” in the subject. A different reviewer looks at it, and we will restore RP where we got it wrong. Unresolved appeals go through grievance redressal.
