Community Guidelines

Anywhere you produce something another student can see:

• Circles — posts, replies and circle names;
• Doubt Hub — the doubt you ask, and any image you attach to it;
• Your identity — username, display name, avatar and bio, which appear on every post you make and on the leaderboard;
• What you send the AI — see talking to the AI.

There is no anonymous posting on EByAi. Everything you write carries your handle. Write accordingly.

Most of the people here are under 18 and are already under a lot of pressure. The point of the community features is that a student stuck at 11pm gets help. So the bar is simple:

• Be useful. Answer the question that was asked.
• Be decent. Nobody is stupid for not knowing something yet.
• Be honest. Do not post an answer you know is wrong, and do not pass off someone else’s work as yours.

You must not host, display, upload, publish, transmit or share anything that falls into any of these categories. They follow Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, which we are required to publish and enforce.

• Abuse and profanity — insults, slurs and language aimed at degrading someone.
• Hate speech — content attacking or promoting hatred against people on the basis of religion, caste, region, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability, or promoting enmity between groups.
• Targeted harassment and bullying — pile-ons, repeated unwanted contact, threats, or content designed to humiliate a specific person.
• Sexual content — obscene, pornographic or paedophilic material, content invasive of bodily privacy, and anything sexual involving a minor. This is a permanent ban and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
• Violence and gore — graphic or shock content, glorification of violence, or incitement to it.
• Content harmful to a child — anything that endangers, exploits or is otherwise harmful to a child, given who this platform serves.
• Self-harm — content encouraging or instructing self-harm or suicide. Asking for help is always allowed and is never moderated against you; what is not allowed is encouraging someone else.
• Other people’s personal details — phone numbers, addresses, roll numbers, school names, photographs or documents belonging to anyone but you.
• Impersonation — pretending to be another student, an EByAi staff member or moderator, our AI tutor, an examining body or an institution.
• Misinformation— knowingly posting information that is patently false or misleading, or misrepresenting where a message came from. Fake “leaked” papers, fabricated cut-offs and invented notifications belong here.
• Infringing material— anything that breaches someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights, and pirated books, paid course material or scraped question banks. See Copyright & Takedown.
• Content threatening India — anything threatening the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or inciting a cognisable offence or obstructing an investigation.
• Gambling, betting and money laundering — including any advertisement or surrogate advertisement for an online money game.
• Illegal activity — sale of illegal goods, drugs or weapons, or any other breach of a law in force.
• Malicious code — viruses, or any file or program designed to disrupt, damage or limit a computer resource.
• Spam and promotion — repetitive posts, referral links, advertising, and attempts to move students onto another service.
• Off-platform contact — soliciting personal contact from another student, especially a minor, or moving a conversation to a private channel. This is treated seriously regardless of intent.

We are a preparation platform, not a route around an examination. You must not use EByAi to:

• ask for or give help during a live examination;
• share, request or trade a leaked, stolen or embargoed question paper;
• offer or seek impersonation at an examination centre;
• advertise any cheating service.

Exam fraud is a first-strike suspension. Where a paper is genuinely under embargo we will also inform the examining body.

Do not post anyone else’s personal information, and do not screenshot a private conversation into a public circle. If someone has posted your details, report the post — this route is open to you whether or not you have an EByAi account. See how to report something.

The doubt solver is a study tool. You must not try to make it produce content that would break these guidelines, and you must not embed instructions in a doubt or an uploaded image intended to hijack it — a prompt injection reaching the answerer is a moderated category in its own right.

AI answers can be wrong. Do not repost one as settled fact without checking it; see Disclaimer.

• In the app — use the report control on the post or reply. It goes straight into the moderation queue with the row attached, which is the fastest route and the one to prefer.
• By email — cto@aashita.ai with “Content report” in the subject, the URL or a screenshot, and what is wrong with it.

You do not need an account to report content. If you are the person affected — your details were posted, someone is impersonating you, or the content concerns your child — email us and we will act, exactly as we would for a registered user. That route exists because Rule 3(2) requires a mechanism open to any user or victim, and a victim usually does not have an account here.

We acknowledge a report within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. Reports about intimate imagery or impersonation are acted on within 24 hours.

Content is screened automatically and reviewed by a person. Not every breach deserves an account closed, so we take the smallest step that fixes the problem:

• Remove the content, with a note telling you why.
• Reset a username, display name or avatar that breaks the rules.
• Limit a feature — posting, replying, or uploads — for a period.
• Suspend the account, which pauses access without deleting anything.
• Terminate the account for a serious or repeated breach.

Serious categories skip the ladder: sexual content involving a minor, credible threats, exam fraud and soliciting off-platform contact with a minor are acted on immediately. A paid subscription does not entitle you to a warning first, and termination for a serious breach is not refunded — see Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Moderation decisions are appealable. Reply to the notice you received, or email cto@aashita.ai with “Moderation appeal” in the subject, and a different reviewer looks at it.
